Titanium Anode Rod
THT titanium anode rod production principle is same as titanium anode plate, titanium anode wire, titanium anode tube, and titanium anode strips ,which involves using titanium rods as the substrate and then coating the surface with a layer of precious metal oxides, such as ruthenium oxide, iridium oxide, or platinum oxide. This coating undergoes a sintering process at high temperatures to form a durable oxide cover layer. The precious metal oxide coating provides excellent electrocatalytic and electrochemical activity to titanium anodes, making them crucial in various electrochemical applications such as wastewater treatment, electroplating, hydrocyclone electrolysis,desalination of seawater, chemical production, and corrosion prevention in marine engineering equipment.

Cathodic Protection
THT titanium anode rod is applied in various cathodic protection fields, such as underground pipelines, underground storage tanks, etc. By installing THT titanium anode rods on the surface of pipelines or directly inserting them into the interior of pipelines, protective currents are released to protect pipelines from corrosion by soil, water and other environmental factors. Additionally, corrosion prevention for metal structures, ship hulls, and marine engineering is also achieved through the use of titanium anode rods in external current cathodic protection systems.
Water Heater Tank
THT titanium anode rod delivers electrons into the water, diverting the corrosive action of hard water minerals from the walls of the water heater tank to the anode rod. This significantly extends the lifespan of the water heater tank, softens the water, prevents mineral buildup, and removes impurities. The Ir-Ta (IrO2/Ta2O5) mixed metal oxide catalyst on the titanium anode rod remains stable under electrochemical processes. The wear rate of the titanium anode rod is extremely low, with strong corrosion resistance and minimal odor generation. Environmentally friendly and requiring infrequent replacement, the lifespan of the titanium anode rod can reach more than 10 years.
