Working Principle
Salt chlorinator for pool is is to produce chlorine gas by electrolyzing saltwater then disinfect When saltwater enters the electrolysis cell, under the action of an electric field, ions in the water are separated, hydrogen ions and chloride ions move towards the anode and cathode respectively, producing chlorine gas and hydrogen gas. Chlorine gas is immediately dissolved in water to maintain its chlorine concentration, while hydrogen gas is discharged from the electrolytic cell. This process not only generates chlorine gas for disinfection, but also maintains the chlorine concentration in the water, thereby achieving the effect of sterilization and disinfection.
The use of the salt chlorinator not only achieves the purpose of efficient disinfection and sterilization, but also can accurately control the chlorine production to achieve the effect of long-term maintenance of healthy water quality. It is generally composed of an electrolytic cell and a control cabinet to accurately control the required chlorine production. The reaction process is reversible. During the power on reaction, salt NACl produces chlorine for disinfection. After power off, chlorine and sodium are combined again to form NaCl, which is not consumed in the whole process.

Titanium Anode Group
According to different chlorine production rates, there are 5, 7, and 9 titanium anode plates. Due to the reverse polarity function, both sides of the titanium anode plate need to be coated with coatings such as single ruthenium, ruthenium iridium, ruthenium iridium platinum, etc. The service life requirements and coating selection will vary, and the titanium anode group can be easily replaced.
Housing

Controller
Liquid crystal display (LCD) screen and buttons allow for parameter setting and real-time monitoring of water quality, electrolysis current, voltage, and NaClO generation rate. Additionally, it can adjust the salinity level. In case of malfunction or abnormal situations, the control cabinet will issue alerts to remind users.
