Application
THT titanium mesh electrode has a wide range of applications in electrochemical fields:
1. Corrosion protection
Iridium tantalum titanium mesh electrode is used in the cathodic protection for reinforced concrete structures, and can also be made into cylinders to replace ferrosilicon anodes in horizontal ground beds and inclined ground beds.
There are also some bridge piers, bridge decks, parking lots and other areas used for anti-corrosion treatment.
2. Electrolysis and Electroplating
Platinized titanium mesh electrode is widely used in electrolysis and electroplating process. During electrolysis, the titanium metal on the titanium anode releases electrons to reduce the metal ions in the anode solution. In electroplating, titanium anode mesh has good electrical conductivity and can provide stable current and effective plating quality
3. Waste water treatment
Ruthenium iridium titanium anode mesh is used in the electrolysis reaction in sewage treatment, the titanium metal on the titanium mesh electrode can promote the oxidation and decomposition of harmful substances in the wastewater, so as to reduce water pollution . In addition, titanium mesh electrode can also be used for electrolysis of sludge and removal of heavy metal ions.
4. Fuel cell
Titanium mesh electrode is used in fuel cells where the titanium metal catalyst on the titanium anode can promote the oxidation reaction of hydrogen, thus generating electric current.
