Grade 5 Titanium Sheet
Grade 5 titanium sheet is an α-β type titanium alloy, consisting primarily of titanium, with 6% α-stabilizing element Aluminum and 4% β-stabilizing element Vanadium. It is also known as Ti6Al4V titanium plate. THT stocks various specifications of Grade 5 titanium plates in the annealed condition, and with the following advantages:

Application
THT Gr5 titanium plates are widely used in the medical, aerospace, military, and chemical industries. In the medical field, Gr5 titanium alloy plate is Gr5Eli (Gr23) titanium plate. If with higher strength requirements, medical grade Gr5 titanium plates are often chosen. In aerospace, cold forming is not suitable for Gr5 titanium plates. The ultimate tensile strength for Gr5 titanium alloys will be at least 120,000 psi. Aerospace-grade Gr5 titanium plates are typically used to achieve dimensions close to the final size of the part. The material is processed to the closest size to the desired part dimensions, resulting in a more homogeneous grain structure. Gr5 titanium plates are often used as heat barriers to prevent heat transfer to other parts of the assembly. In defense applications, Gr5 titanium plates are utilized for their high strength and hardness, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance in armor plates, armored vehicles, missiles, rockets, and special equipment.

Could Grade 5 titanium sheet be bent?
