Nitinol sheet, also known as nickel titanium sheet, is primarily composed of 54.5-57 wt% nickel and 43 wt% titanium. In addition to flat nitinol sheets, we also offer a range of other forms including nitinol foil, nitinol ribbon, and nitinol strip, catering to various applications.

Biomedical applications: Our Nitinol sheets are widely used in biomedical applications such as orthopedic implants, catheters, and cardiovascular stents due to their excellent biocompatibility. The shape memory alloy function of Nitinol is fully utilized in these applications. For example, Nitinol plates can be made into a folded form and inserted into arteries or veins in the human body. When the body temperature rises above a specific transition temperature (Af temperature), the Nitinol material reverts to its original, pre-determined shape, which helps the stent or catheter to precisely position and expand in the body.

Bridges and buildings: THT elastic nitinol plates are used to create crack-sensing elements. They can be embedded in concrete structures to monitor and sense the occurrence and dimensional changes of cracks in real time, providing a structural health monitoring and early warning system to ensure the long-term safety and stability of the building.
Electronics: THT Nitinol plates are used in a wide range of high-tech products such as thermoelectric actuators, miniature sensors and shape memory alloy connectors.


Shape Memory Alloy VS Superelastic
Shape Memory Nitinol Sheet: Through heat treatment, we set the deformation to occur at a specific temperature. When heated above the AF temperature, our nitinol plate will automatically return to its original unshaped state. According to the recovered shape characteristics, shape memory nitinol plates can be categorized into: single-pass shape memory, double-pass shape memory and full-pass shape memory.
Superelastic Nitinol Sheet: It does not rely on heat treatment, but is deformed by an external force. After the withdrawal of external forces, it can quickly return to its original shape, and its elasticity is 10 to 30 times that of ordinary metals.
