THT Nitinol Wire
THT Nitinol wire is available in a variety of shapes including flat, square and round with bi-directional shape memory. At high temperatures, our Nitinol wire transforms to an austenitic phase and then forms martensite when cooled to low temperatures, changing shape in the process. When reheated to its transformation temperature, the Nitinol wire reverts to the austenitic phase, returning to its original shape.




How To Make Nitinol Wire
Our nitinol wire uses high-purity nickel and titanium as raw materials, and further removes impurities through vacuum arc melting (VAR) in a high vacuum environment, thereby improving the purity of the nitinol and enhancing its fatigue resistance. The smelted billet is forged, hot rolled and cold rolled to significantly improve the strength and toughness of the alloy.
Subsequently, heat treatment reduces internal stresses and improves ductility. According to the customer’s needs, the alloy wire will be stretched to the required diameter and subjected to double water polishing and surface graphite emulsion polishing to ensure that the product surface is smooth and rust-free.
At every step, we strictly conduct sampling analysis, including chemical composition analysis and mechanical performance testing, to ensure that the final product meets high standards.


Application
Our NiTi alloy wires are widely used in a variety of fields under different temperatures and properties:
1.Super elasticity at room temperature:
Mainly used in mobile phone antennas, toy antennas, glasses frames, Bluetooth headsets, ear hooks, underwear flat wire, spring wire and golf club inserts, etc.
2.Low temperature super elasticity:
It is mainly used for fishing hooks, fishing rods, raft rods, needle blocks and other fishing gear products, providing high-quality tools for fishing enthusiasts.
3. Temperature control material:
Mainly used in electrical appliances, sanitary ware, kitchenware, medical equipment, mechanical parts, aviation, nuclear industry, hardware products, springs, standard parts, fasteners and precision parts and other fields.
In addition, our niti wire is widely used in the medical field. Because of its small size, flexibility and remarkable efficacy, it is often used in orthodontic wires, dental arch wires, intrauterine devices and other products. THT niti wires can also be embedded in concrete to monitor cracks in civil structures such as bridges and buildings and provide timely intervention.
