Production Processing
Raw Material Preparation: Titanium ingots are the primary raw material for titanium wire production. The ingots undergo initial processing including melting and forging processes to ensure purity and uniformity of the raw material.
Drawing: The pre-treated titanium ingots are heated to appropriate temperatures and then processed through a drawing machine. Drawing is the process of gradually elongating the titanium ingots into fine wires of the required diameter. It requires precise control of drawing speed and temperature to ensure the quality of the titanium wire.
Pickling: After drawing, the titanium wire may have surface oxides or impurities, which necessitates pickling to remove surface oxide layers and impurities, enhancing the surface cleanliness and purity of the titanium wire.
Heat Treatment: The pickled titanium wire undergoes heat treatment to relieve stress and improve the strength and toughness of the wire. The temperature and duration of the heat treatment are precisely controlled to meet the required performance standards.
Surface Treatment: Surface treatment of titanium wire includes processes such as polishing and electroplating to enhance surface glossiness and corrosion resistance, thereby increasing its lifespan in practical applications.


Inspection
To make sure our titanium wire quality ,we would make below titanium wire test as requirement:
Tensile Testing: Measures the tensile strength and elongation properties of titanium wire.
Hardness Testing: Evaluates the hardness of titanium wire, typically using methods like Rockwell or Brinell hardness.
Metallographic Inspection/Analysis: Observes the microstructure of titanium wire to understand grain size and distribution.
Corrosion Testing: Assesses the corrosion resistance of titanium wire under different environmental conditions.
Chemical Analysis: Analyzes the chemical composition of titanium wire to ensure it meets specified alloy requirements.
High Temperature Testing: Evaluates the performance of titanium wire under high temperature conditions.
Stress Rupture Testing (Creep): Assesses the deformation and fracture characteristics of titanium wire under prolonged stress conditions.
