Titanium Wire Grade 5
Gr5 titanium wire is a high-performance titanium alloy wire, primarily composed of 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, and 90% titanium. Compared to pure titanium wire (such as Gr2 titanium wire),Gr5 titanium wire offers significantly higher strength and superior fatigue resistance. This makes Gr5 titanium wire outstanding in applications requiring high strength and durability. It is widely used in aerospace, medical devices, and industrial manufacturing. Its excellent mechanical properties and chemical characteristics make it an ideal choice for various high-performance applications.
Gr5 titanium wire lacks ductility, so when subjected to tensile force, it will fracture abruptly at a certain moment without elongation. This characteristic may be necessary in certain applications, and in mechanical or structural reinforcement applications, its strength far exceeds that of aluminum wire.

Application
TiAl6V4 titanium wire can form a dense and firmly adhered oxide layer in oxidizing environments. In the event of damage, this oxide layer can rapidly reform in oxygen-rich environments. Due to its outstanding biocompatibility, TiAl6V4 titanium wire is increasingly used in medical technology and the jewelry industry as an implant material.
Gr5 titanium wire exhibits high strength, heat treatability, weldability, excellent fatigue strength, and hardness, making it well-suited for aerospace and industrial applications. Gr5 titanium wire is commonly used in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and plasma arc welding (PAW).

Titanium Coil Wire
Titanium coil wire is manufactured through a continuous drawing process and then wound into coils. Its advantages include easy transportation and storage. It is primarily used in applications that require long continuous lengths, such as weaving, winding, and wire harness manufacturing. Titanium coiled wire is highly flexible, making it easy to wind and use.
Titanium Spool Wire
Titanium spool wire is further processed from coiled wire by winding it onto spools, with spool diameters typically ranging from 50 to 600 millimeters. Compared to titanium coil wire, titanium spool wire requires higher strength and is suitable for applications that need high strength and precise diameters, such as high-load mechanical parts and structural components. Consequently, the price of titanium spool wire is usually higher than that of coiled wire.
Titanium Straight Wire
Titanium straight wire is cut into fixed lengths of straight wire. For example, titanium welding wire is typically 1 meter long. Titanium straight wire is used in applications that require precise lengths and high straightness, such as manufacturing medical devices and precision mechanical parts.
