How Does Our Sintered Filter Disc Work?

Our sintered filter discs are precision made by powder metallurgy combined with cold isostatic pressing technology. By controlling the ratio of raw materials and sintering parameters, we can customize sintered metal filter discs with different pore sizes to meet diversified filtration needs.
The core working principle is as follows:
1. Surface retention
When fluid (gas or liquid) passes through, particles larger than the pore size are effectively intercepted on the surface or near-surface area of the filter disc
2. Deep filtration
With three-dimensional interconnection porous structure, micron-sized particles are continually captured due to inertial collision and electrostatic adsorption when they are flowing through the zigzagging pore channels, which significantly improves the filtration efficiency.
Through the above work, it is possible to achieve high efficiency in solid-liquid, solid-gas and gas-liquid separations.
