THT titanium foam is made of high purity industrial pure titanium (≥99.6%) as raw material, which is prepared through precision sieving, cold isostatic pressure moulding and high temperature vacuum sintering process. The high temperature and corrosion resistance of titanium material with unique foam structure have the following core characteristics:

How is titanium foam made?

1. Freeze casting: Push the powder into the frozen solidified ice crystal structure, through freeze drying and sintering can be obtained aligned, elongated pores
2. Powder sintering: Produced at temperatures at or below those required for the fusion process, the metal powder particles are bonded by solid-state diffusion to form a porous foam structure, with the size, shape, and distribution of the pores in the sintered titanium foam being determined by the metal powder.
3. Thermal isostatic pressing: the use of inert gas argon gas pressure, the encapsulated powder or prefabricated parts for uniform pressure, placed at high temperatures under the bubble expansion
4. Space fixation technology: the space support and metal powder mixed, dissolved and sintered, can obtain three-dimensional pore network structure
