Titanium Foil VS Strip
Some customers may not make a strict distinction between titanium foil and titanium strip, actually they have below difference:
Size range: Titanium foils are generally thinner and are available in sizes (0.01-0.1mm) x (50-300mm) x length, whereas titanium strips are thicker and have a wider width range (0.1-10mm) x (5-600mm) x length.
Processing and supply state: Titanium foil is generally processed by cold rolling, so it is usually supplied in cold processed state or annealed state. Titanium strip, due to its thicker thickness, can be hot rolled in addition to cold rolled, so the supply state may include cold worked, hot worked and annealed states.
Why THT Titanium Strip?
Titanium strips produced by THT are subjected to a precision rolling process with strict temperature control to ensure the stability of their mechanical properties and the uniformity of their grain structure. Cold rolled titanium strips or foils are subjected to vacuum annealing or inert gas annealing during the production process. The inlet and outlet of the annealing furnace are strictly sealed to ensure that no excessive oxides are generated during the annealing process, thus avoiding affecting the surface quality. The surface of our titanium strips is smooth and clean, with no scratches, indentations, pits or spots; there is no peeling or oxidized skin, and there is no compression folding. There is no delamination in the length and width direction of the titanium strips, and the cuts are neat and tidy, with no curled edges or burrs, ensuring that each roll of titanium strips meets the high standard of quality requirements.
