Production Processing
- High Purity Raw Materials Selection: Strictly selected ≥ 99.9% electrolytic nickel and titanium sponge , impurity content (O / C / N) control at the ppm level, to meet the ASTM F2063 medical standard
- Vacuum Melting: Vacuum melting under inert gas protection, 2nd vacuum self-consumption melting depth to remove impurities, to ensure uniformity of the melting composition, in accordance with the requirements of the Af phase transition temperature, strict adjustment of nickel and titanium components
- Hot Rolling: In 800 ~ 1000 ℃ protective atmosphere for a number of hot rolling, to ensure uniform internal grain structure, to eliminate internal defects
- Heat Treatment: Rapid cooling at about 850℃ to form austenite phase. 300~500℃ aging treatment. Adjust the martensite phase transition temperature
Our Inspection
- Dimensional Inspection: 100% full inspection of the diameter and length of each batch of nickel-titanium alloy rods.
- Chemical Composition Testing: Nickel, titanium and impurity composition testing by a third party laboratory.
- Microstructure: SEM/EDS scanning electron microscope to detect grain size and surface or cross-section defects.
- Mechanical Properties: Measurement of tensile strength, superelasticity test and flexural fatigue life using standard ASTM E8/E21.
