Grade 2 Titanium Tube
Gr2 titanium tube is a type of pure titanium tube with excellent tensile strength and cold formability.
According to the production process and price differences, it is divided into seamless Gr2 titanium pipes and welded Gr2 titanium pipes. Seamless Gr2 titanium pipes are made by extrusion technology, and welded Gr2 titanium pipes are made by curling the sheet metal and welding it. Generally, seamless Gr2 titanium pipes have a relatively small wall thickness and diameter, and the price is relatively higher compared to welded Gr2 titanium pipes.
According to the difference in pipe diameter, it can be divided into small diameter capillary Gr2 titanium tubes and large diameter Gr2 titanium tubes.
According to the difference in wall thickness, it can be divided into thin-walled Gr2 titanium pipes and thick walled Gr2 titanium pipes.

Feature
The specific strength (strength to weight ratio) of Gr2 pure titanium tube is very high in metal structural materials, its strength is equivalent to steel, but its weight is only 57% of steel. In addition, titanium tubes have strong heat resistance and can maintain good strength and stability even in an atmosphere of 500 ℃. Gr2 titanium tube also has good low-temperature resistance, even at ultra-low temperatures of -250 ℃, it still has high impact strength and can withstand high pressure and vibration.
Another notable feature is its strong corrosion resistance, which is due to its strong affinity for oxygen, which can generate a dense oxide film on its surface, protecting titanium from medium corrosion. Therefore, titanium has good stability in acidic, alkaline, neutral saline solutions and oxidizing media, and its corrosion resistance is better than that of existing stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals
