About Our Production
Our factory can adopt different methods to manufacture Grade 5 titanium tubes according to different requirement:
1. Hot Extrusion
In the hot extrusion process, we heat the titanium billet to a high temperature of about 900-950°C and then extrude it through a die to obtain the desired titanium tube shape. This process makes ensure the density and mechanical properties of the titanium tube.
2. Rotary Piercing
In the rotary piercing process, we rotate and press the heated titanium billet on the piercing mandrel to accurately pierce the titanium billet. The titanium tube will then undergo a rolling operation to further improve the shape and wall thickness of the tube to achieve the desired dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
3. Deep Drilling
For special sizes and limited quantities of Grade 5 titanium tube, we use a deep drilling process. By deep drilling a solid titanium rod, a precise hole structure can be achieved in the titanium tube.
About Our Test
All our titanium tube production, including Grade 5 titanium tubes, undergoes strict quality control and comprehensive testing to ensure that each batch of products meets high standards. Specific testing items include:
- Hardness test
- Chemical composition test
- Mechanical property test
- Intergranular corrosion test
- Flattening/flaring test
During shipment, we will provide a third-party MTC test report to ensure the quality and compliance of all products. For welded Grade 5 titanium tubes, we specifically use ultrasonic testing and non-destructive electromagnetic testing methods to ensure that the welding quality meets the highest standards. In addition, we also provide 100% radiographic inspection reports to ensure that each welded titanium tube is free of any hidden defects and meets high performance and safety requirements
