Production Processing

Our plant utilizes advanced vacuum self-consuming electric arc melting for secondary melting to prepare high quality titanium ingots. The titanium ingots are precision forged and opened to form round ingots, which are then extruded into tube billets using an extruder. Subsequently, the billet is passed through a three-roll planetary mill for two primary rolls and then through a three-roll finishing mill for further finishing to ensure the precision and surface quality of the pipe. During this process, the titanium billets are also subjected to an intermediate vacuum annealing treatment to eliminate internal stresses and optimize the mechanical properties of the material.

The precision-controlled drawing process takes advantage of the superior tensile strength, hardness and self-lubricating properties of the carbon fiber material to act as a mandrel for the drawing of the titanium tubes, thus ensuring uniform wall thickness, smooth surface and consistent mechanical properties of the titanium capillary tubing. Finally, the finished titanium capillary tubings are rigorously flaw detected using ultrasonic or osmotic coloring inspection techniques to ensure that each tube meets high quality standards.

Inner Wall Control

In the process of drawing titanium alloy into capillary tubes, the inner wall may be wrinkled and oxidized skin due to processing stress, resulting in uneven and bumpy inner wall, which affects the performance of the tubes and the efficiency of fluid transportation. In order to solve this problem, we carry out rough polishing and then fine polishing on the inner wall of titanium capillary tube to ensure its smoothness and consistency.

Among them, the fine polishing process adopts the advanced abrasive grain flow technology, through the special abrasive grain fluid extrusion into the inner hole of the capillary tube, under high pressure for extrusion grinding. The abrasive grains produce micro-cutting effect on the inner wall surface, gradually removing the defective layer and oxide skin on the inner wall, realizing efficient finishing treatment. As a result of this process, the inner wall of the titanium capillary tubing achieves excellent smoothness and a flawless surface, which significantly improves the tube’s usability and aesthetics.
