What is MMO Anode
MMO Anode, fully known as the Mixed Metal Oxide Anode (also referred to as Mixed Metal Oxide Electrode), is a type of DSA (Dimensionally Stable Anode). It is manufactured by applying a premium MMO coating (Mixed Metal Oxide) onto a titanium substrate, resulting in a high-performance MMO Coated Titanium Anode.

THT MMO anodes are categorized into IrO₂TaO₅ titanium anodes and RuO₂IrO₂ titanium anodes based on coating differences. The former primarily catalyzes oxygen evolution reactions in neutral environments such as soil, freshwater, or sulfate systems with low chloride ion concentrations. Quality Control
1. During core process such as acid washing, sandblasting, and coating, we implement rigorous process parameter documentation and quality tracking to ensure full traceability
2. Each coating batch undergoes accelerated life testing under the following conditions: 40,000 A/m² current density, 1 mol/L H₂SO₄ solution, and 40±2°C temperature.
3. X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) is employed to inspect coating element distribution, ensuring uniform composition and thickness.
4. In addition to third-party coating thickness verification, we rigorously conduct internal 3M tape peel tests to validate coating-to-substrate adhesion performance.
